Coffs Harbour marina
We have been nicely tucked away at the Coffs Harbour Marina since our 8:30pm arrival from Port Stephens last Wednesday night. Kind of a roughish end as the wind headed us as per usual. The moor is great. The SM and CEO's sister Margaret, (ace paddler) greeted us with flashing car headlights to guide us to the safe harbour!
CH has startling bright deep blue leading lights, and while Viv, Margaret, Mark -relos -and onlookers helped we tied up pretending to be salt stained weary sailors looking like they had been rode hard and put away wet.
Being in the marina is comfortable since it has been blowing 15 to 30 knots NE since we got here. Ahh sailor heaven.
Ed R and I have been inundated with hospitality from friends and relatives and now have a fitness program going to survive. Morning swims, walks up Muttonbird Island and generally getting sweaty. Makes for a thirsty time.
Had Tory-Australian, Lori- Canadian from Thunder Bay, plus their 3 delightful little gals on board yesterday. They are building a large ocean going catamaran, and allowed the SM to bash their ears for over an hour before they escaped.
The NZ crew are getting ready and so am I.
Cheers from the funny shaped fitness nuts on the Falcon GT
