The Falcon GT sails again. Rejuvenated after a 6 months holiday at Port Stephens NSW Australia, she is in her rightful place at sea with a happy, well fed, and relaxed crew.
For this overnight trip of 160nm to Coffs Harbour, on board we have the CEO - Douglas G, sailing master Allan R from the CHGC and ace ocean kayaker, Ed R crew superintendant, and yours truly the Senior Member.
Weather? - blustery South wind to start yesterday - spinnaker up then land interfered with our course so then overnight 2 sail reaching until morning when the sailing was interrupted by breakfast. Now nothing cooking wind wise.
Not to forget the welcome tuna and pasta dinner last night by the CEO followed by Anzac cookies and all had a good night.
Sunburn city now ( 10am) and later today it'll be Coffs Harbour for us until the new crew gathers for the Coffs to Whangarei NZ voyage on or about 6 Dec 2009. Note that's NZ not NSW.
